Jullien Gordon

After buying his first triplex in Brooklyn, New York in 2013 and immediately achieving rent and mortgage freedom forever, Jullien kept investing from a distance in New Orleans and Oakland. As his personal portfolio began to grow, people kept asking him how he was finding deals, and that led to the birth of The Multifamily Movement in July 2019.
Inspired by Harriet Tubman, Jullien set out to help 300 people buy their first multifamily home; since that is how many people she freed over the course of a decade by making 19 trips below the Mason-Dixon Line. Harriet Tubman was the #1 conductor on the Underground Railroad and we are the leaders on the Above Ground Road which is multifamily real estate as we seek to help people achieve rent and mortgage freedom.

What started out as a personal endeavor to eliminate his housing expense, begin building wealth, and leave an inheritance for his daughter, the Multifamily Movement has grown into a movement of multiple families creating and building re-generational wealth to enter the asset class. Multifamily real estate is simply the first asset we are seeking to acquire together.
Launched in July of 2019, the Multifamily Movement has humble beginnings. Our goal was to help 300 families close on a multifamily property. We held our first live event in January 2020 with less than 100 members in attendance. Each week, Jullien shared his vision and each week the family grew.
By the end of 2021, we achieved our initial goal of helping 300 families close and we celebrated in style in July 2022 in New Orleans.
Since then, the movement has grown, our impact has broadened, our vision has expanded, and our legacy cannot be denied. Our new goal is to help 100,000 people (families) to achieve $1,000,000 in net worth, making the Multifamily Movement one of the richest families in the world with $100,000,000,000 (that’s a billion) in collective net worth. Just imagine what we can and will do to impact the world.
